Melrose
native Rick Schettino and his lifelong friend, Justin Zachor of
Somerville, are co-creators of e-Traffic Control, a web development and
marketing consultant company. Last year, the two decided to foray into
pod casting, a new form of media where audio and/or video shows are
produced solely for the Internet. Users can search for shows and
download them, listening and watching on their computers or
transferring them to their portable media players, i.e. iPods, and can
subscribe to shows and have them automatically downloaded each time a
new show is posted online.

For many years, Westwood native Dan S. struggled with alcoholism that started with experimental drinking as a youth and escalated into more serious
drinking as a young man. Now the 43-year-old, recently of Franklin, who in December celebrated 17 years of sobriety, is using the Internet to help others going through the same struggle.
